The Temple of the centre is open to all sections of people. As part of its regular religious and spiritual activities, Mission conducts.

Religious Activities

Tithi puja of Sri Sri Tahkur, Sri Maa and Swamijee and Durgapuja, in particular are celebrated in very grand manner through a day long programme with distribution of Mahaprasad to thousands of devotees.

  • Daily worship with prayer in the morning and evening in the quiet atmosphere of the shrine in which monks, brahmachari and devotees participate.
  • Regular religious discourses on Sunday, Wednesday and Friday including special discourses on the Birth Tithipuja of monastic disciples of Sri Ramakrishna, round the year.
  • Special class by Swami Amartyananda, Secretary of the centre for “Self Development of youth” on 3rd Sunday of every month.
  • Observance of Tithipuja of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Sarada Devi and Swami Vivekananda with due solemnity.
  • In tune with the catholic and universal attitude of Sri Ramakrishna, the Mission also celebrates in a befitting manner the Buddha Purnima, X-Mass Eve and puja such as Durga Puja, Kali Puja, Gurupurnima, FalahariniKalipuja, Snanjatra, Saraswati Puja, Shivaratri and Janmasthami.

During the period under report festival of Sri Sri Durga Puja, Laxmi Puja, Kali Puja , Gurupurnima, Budhapurnima, Janmasthami, X-mas eve (24-12), Dolpurnima, Falaharini Kali puja, Snanjatra, Saraswati Puja, Shiva Ratri including Birth Tithipuja of monastic desiples of Sri Ramakrishna on the dates and 171st Advent Tithipuja of Holly Mother Sarada Devi 162nd Tithi puja of Swamiji and 189th Advent Tithipuja of Sri Ramakrishna Deb were observed with due solemnity.

Rev. Srimat Swami Suhitanandaji, Vice President, Belur Math, Rev. Srimat Swami Goutamanandaji, Vice President, Belur Math and Rev. Srimat Swami DIvyanandaji, Adhaksya, R.K. Math, Cossipur, Kolkata visited our centre and delivered benedictory Lactures to the devotees.
